The real Bond villain here has got to be Thiel, right? He clearly bought Vance's VP spot from Trump by promising massive election spending from the cabal of tech fascists, and now has Musk sponging attention & future indictments on the front lines. I sure hope we never have an opportunity to see what their endgame grift is really all about...

So now if Kamala wins, both Trump and Musk are headed to prison!

LOCK. THEM. UP.

Let's hope they can nab Thiel too. Less feasible since he lives abroad, but not out of the question!

Un-fucking-believable.

The fall of the Weimar Republic to the nazis had a lot to do with the fact that conservative christian-nationalists and oligarchs (both industrial and media, the categories strongly overlapped) thought it was their best option. History may not repeat itself, but it sure looks like it rhymes.

And as with Trump today, they thought Hitler was fundamentally unserious and would be easy to manipulate.

FYI - I've posted this link twice to Facebook and it's been removed both times as going against their Community Standards on spam.

Might be worth looking into. Facebook's moderators seem to be interpreting this page as a suggestion to go get paid to register by Elon Musk.

Thanks for sharing! Wtf, seriously. Why is no one talking about this?

One of the benefits of the GOP spending years shouting about bogus election fraud is that it allows them to engage in actual fraud and crime with the shields of "both sides do it" and "didn't you say it was all BS?"

Idk if it's clear that this is illegal at all - he's not paying people to register to vote, he's making being a registered voter and living in Pennsylvania a necessary condition to sign the petition from which people will be randomly chosen. It's not a lottery in the traditional sense (no fee for entry), it's a sweepstakes, which is not mentioned in the law.

This is not an endorsement of the whole thing, but I think it's more complicated than the lawyer quoted believes it to be.

Can't Pennsylvania get an injunction against this since it's clear a lawsuit would win against the merits?

Can’t Pennsylvania authorities do something about this since it’s all happening there?

Someone or something high up must be protecting this guy. Maybe he’s just a stooge that they can dispose of when he’s outlived his usefulness. Useful assets could then be seized. Nothing else makes sense. Also: a petition for the first and second amendments? Not necessary.

Perhaps someone charge the Republican members of the commission with dereliction of duty if they fail to uphold black-and-white law. And I think it was Jay Kuo who suggested gumming up this operation of Musk's by filling it with bogus data.

Being born white, male, and straight in America is the playing the game on the easiest level. Being born rich as a white, straight male in America is playing the game on the easiest level after you input the 30-man code from Contra.

The lottery would need an alternate method of entering, like sending a post card, otherwise the lottery itself is illegal.

As noted below, if Kamala wins, there'll be plenty of time for a prosecution. And then, hopefully, some executive action to push him out of Starlink and SpaceX

Great work Dave!
