I’m gratified that Gavin Newsome and many other prominent Democrats immediately endorsed Harris. She has the campaign funds and apparatus. I don’t see anyone else being able to run a successful campaign in the time remaining.

This whole thing has caused my mom (a regular voter but otherwise unengaged) to look into driving people to the polls. I hope that's part of a wider shift of the normies awakening.

This election is about our future with Kamala Harris as President vs. Trump. The difference is clear, and the Democrats are energized.

After November, let’s advocate for improvements to our primary process and election system. The Democrats successfully eliminated superdelegates, and Iowa finally isn’t the most important state in the primary—but change only happens when the public demands it!

I am a bit sad that this won't be an open nomination process. A party more confident in itself would have drawn energy from it.

Speaking for myself, I voted for this ticket in a general and a primary and would feel very, very cheated by a convention conducted in the way you describe. I wonder if anyone else would also feel like this?

I'm with you on this.

It will be a huge win if we don't go full circular firing squad, as is the Democratic party custom

I’m just so pissed off that they made Joe step down by they I mean Big Donors who played more of a roll in this than elected officials. Screw off Clooney ! It was one bad night for Joe who was sick. But now we must move forward I think Kamala will be great !! I am sure Joe knew long ago of his situation and for 4 years has had her hand in everything and made sure she is well prepared

She does hold a higher majority support to the media base than Biden does.

Dave never lets his readers down. Always upbeat and optimistic , he spins Democratic disaster into a web of noise and confusion that would make the average spider spin in it s grave. From the notion that Biden suddenly hit a wall when the evidence proves beyond a reasonable doubt that the President has been mentally compromised for years to Joe Biden having been a stellar politician when his record has been littered with one poorly chosen position after another, to a habit of plagiarizing other politicians speeches to flat out lying about his past accomplishments, Dave deftly ignores the past and creates a rosy picture of cotton candy and puppy dog tails.

Simply put, take a look at Tulsi Gabbard's dismembering of Harris' record during the Democrats 2016 debate. Harris was done. She is no better now that she has 4 years of word salad responses to serious questions.

The only way that Harris wins a head to head match up with Trump is if a second Black Swan event intervenes to her benefit. And the Dems are more than willing, and are ,in fact, compelled to provide that event. I found it invigorating that last Friday's world wide semi-meltdown of the internet began with Crowd Strike, one of Hilary's partners in spreading the Russiagate baloney that led to what some are calling an attempted slow motion coup.

Buckle up buttercups, the rollercoaster ride on our way to the dismantling of this democracy is well underway. And Dave is here to provide you with the funhouse mirror version of democracy's evisceration.

Hey Pick, here's the byplay between your hero and Ms. Gabbard, who you dismiss so eloquently.

It was universally concluded that Ms. Gabbard eviscerated VP Harris, which led to Harris' abandonment of her quest for the presidency.

It is adorable that you gain delight in the defeat of your candidate. So...I don't know..DEI of you.

I _implore_ you to start _every_ political conversation about this for the next 100 days with "B-b-but Tulsi! Tulsi Gabbard!" _Please._

And once again you avoid an argument you cannot win. Are you 12 years of age?

My recommendation is that you bookmark this video on your phone. Then when you bring up Tulsi in conversation you can whip it out and demand that the person you're talking to watch it immediately right there and then.

There was so much more to discuss but you obsess about Ms. Gabbard. Perhaps you should ask yourself why.

When in debate specific charges are leveled by one debater at another and the second person (VP Harris in this case) fails to counter the charges and, in fact, fails to address the charges at all, it is generally concluded that the charges were accurate. Just a little assistance for you.
